Hello everyone It´s been a while since my last entry so I thought it´s about time to make a new one. As first I hope you all had a wonderful start in the new year. The second thing is that I´ve changed my username . I know you guys knew me all as SilentDeath007 but it was never my favorite choice. Now I am Angelstorm-82 . And I changed it because my premium membership is expireing soon so I had to do this... at least .

I hope everyone is doing fine. I am very busy atm and I had not much time to draw but I promise my Master Chief is almost done and then ready to post .

Graphite and coloured pencil commissions

First things first: I don´t do free commissions

Since I get more and more requests for commissions I thought it´s time to make a Journal about this issue.

In the following you´ll see what kind of commissions I do and what are the prices for each of them.

All my prices are final prices that means it includes everything so there are no extra or hidden costs for you.

I do only accept PayPal as payment!

and (19,5" x 27" / 50 x 70 cm) for highly detailed pieces and only on request.

All these prices are for a single drawn person. For an extra portrait I´ll charge 25€ / $30. This applies to all offers.
If you accepted a commision you´ll also get some progress shots from me via e-mail for free so you can see how your commissioned piece takes shape.
As I mentioned before I´ll only accept PayPal as payment.

Wow it´s over a half year ago since my last Journal entry. Well I want to thank you all for your awesome birthday wishes. You overwhelmed me with them. You may noticed that I turned 30. It´s just a number. I feel as young as ever . I had a nice party with lot´s of presents this time (which were packed on a sadistic way btw ).

Haven´t worked much on my Black Widow drawing but I guess I´ll be able to finish it soon.

Time to update my journal. It´s been several months ago since my last one .

Well this year is almost over (again) and I guess I am able to do one last big awesome piece of art before the year ends .

If you like you can guess what I am drawing now . Here´s one hint for you. It´s a Final Fantasy XIII drawing again. But this time a very difficult one with a lot of details and stuff. Will take me at least a month.

Hey guys it´s been a little while since my last Journal entry so here is a little update.

I want to ask you something about digital artworks this time. But as first a little explanation from me.  The reason is that I made in 2008 a few digital artworks. I was curious about this stuff and bought me a wacom bamboo graphic tablet and worked a bit with the digital media. As drawing program I used my crappy PS elements but it was enough for me as a beginner.  It made a lot of fun the first time. I drew a sketch, scanned it and started with the colouring procedure in PS. Later I tried it completely in PS. But after some good pictures it became boring to me. I found there was no real challenge for me as an artist. With PS ( or an other good paint program ) you have unlimited possibilitys with layers,  brushes, filters etc.  The only challenging thing was the sketch but the rest became boring to me. I had the feeling that learning how to work with a computer program is not that what I wanted. The other thing was that these drawings are only stored on my PC. I cant frame them and hang them on my wall until I print them out or i have to watch it on my PC. I got disappointed about this media very fast and returned to the traditional media as how you know it today. Or to put it in a sentence: It was not that what I was hoping for it.

This was my personal experience with the digital media.

My question to you is: Are you interested in seeing some of my digital artworks?  

Last but not least this Journal is not against digital art or artists  in general. There are really a lot of skilled artists out there who can handle this media as well as traditional and I admire their skills. It shows only my personal experience.

Long time ago since my last Journal entry. But I want to tell you some art related changes in the new year. In this year I will finish my last graphite pencil portrait and I guess I will be able to post it at the end of this month ( hopefully before christmas ). Next year I will try to focus more on coloured works and own stuff and less on graphite works. This means that I will draw less as this year and less in graphite. But this has no influence on commissions . I´ll also try to make a "summary of my art" photo and post it here at the end of the month too.

And sorry for my latest Avatar changes . I always wanted a new one but I don´t liked the Matrix Avas. Finally I was able to make a good one. I guess I´ll keep it for a while.

I came across this question after I made my Influence Map which can be seen here [link]
I remembered the time where I drew a lot of Star Wars stuff. In this time I was very interested ( and still am )in the art behind the SW movies and I bought all art books to the new SW movies. And my biggest wish in this time was to be part of the concept art crew of Star Wars. Damn, I would like to be there at that time. I was fascinated by all these amazing artworks which were created for the movies and my biggest wish at this time was to be an concept artist.

What is/was your biggest art related wish? I would like to read your wishes.

PS: And yes my Prince of Persia fanart is almost done. I don´t messed it up yet . It should be done in a few days .

A big sorry about my inactivity on dA lately but My PC was broken down and today I got finally my new desktop PC.
Had a lot of trouble last week. But now it´s all fine again . Haven´t started with my Prince of Persia artwork yet but soon. I´ve lost some of my latest datas and I´ve to recover them all now . I´ve lost also some of my latest scans of my artworks. Now I´ve to re-scan them all . That is the problem if your PC decides for "sudden death" ! I still need to find out what´s broken there.
