Normally I wanted to return to my original artworks but I promised you a long time ago a new hair tutorial. I've been pushing this off for a very long time.

This is my first step of my new portrait which is perfect for an new hair tutorial. I use the awesome reference "Female Stock 3 from ~Katanaz-Stock.

You can download a larger version for better details.

Thanks for looking.

Allan.

How the hell should I trace from such a small reference ??
If bw or not makes no difference for me.

fuck me, because you could not have printed bigger one O.o i know how does sketch look like and how a traced figure does. its not a shame, its a shame that you'd rather lie than say true and defend yourself with some wise arguments. look, i am no worse than you in what we are doing, and i know i can sketch the exact figure millimetre to the fucking millimetre exactly the same, but why more often do i trace? 1 - because its a time saver; 2 - if somebody thinks that tracing is cheating, i will give him the reference, order to trace and draw the rest like i did. and than laugh on them because tracing has no matter if u have no skills (:
i didnt have to write my prewious comment, but was curious of your reaction. i can say you failed my test xD
have a nice time :*

In this case it is a photo. Finished drawings are always scanned. I scan them (if they´re larger then A4) in 3 parts and put them later together on my PC like a little puzzle.
