Yes you see right. I am gonna draw my very first complete coloured pencil portrait. It costs me a lot of bravery to do that because I tried it a few times in earlier years but I failed every time. That´s the reason why I don´t used very often coloured pencils. But it seems that I am now able to solve this problem.
All done with Faber Castell Polychromos coloured pencils on A3 Hahnemühle Nostalgie sketchpaper with 190 gsm. The sketch was done with an 3H graphite pencil but I don´t finished it yet. Was curious how it worked with the coloured pencils so I didn´t finished it yet.
All I can say now is that such a drawing took me at least the double time of an normal graphite pencil drawing.
And I have to be careful. Crayons don´t forgive any mistakes.
Time for this approx 7-8 hrs.
